A day on the water in Kekova: boat trips and private hire

A memorable boat day is less about counting coves than sharing time on the water. You might want a quiet morning on deck, a leisurely lunch or longer swimming stops. Begin with the kind of day your group would enjoy, then choose a boat and discuss the details.

A trip or a private charter?

With private hire, the boat is set aside for your group within its agreed capacity. Share the children’s ages, swimming preferences and any special occasion when planning. Routes and stops still depend on sea conditions and the captain’s assessment; private hire does not make every requested stop possible in every circumstance.

For a boat-trip enquiry, ask whether participation is shared, whether the quotation is per person or per boat and how many other guests may join. Photographs alone cannot tell you how the deck works when everyone is moving around. Consider capacity alongside the practical arrangement.

Our two boat options

Our Kekova boat trips and private hire page introduces Trippy, the red boat for up to 10 guests, and a white boat for up to 12 guests. You can enquire using those descriptions and browse photographs before choosing.

The daily programme runs from 10:00 to 17:00. Lunch includes chicken and fish, four meze dishes and salad, with fruit served in the afternoon. Tell us about allergies or dietary requirements before the trip. Confirm whether drinks, transport or other extras are included when reviewing your quotation.

Allow for the journey to Kekova

Our boats operate in the Kekova area. If you are staying in Kalkan, do not assume departure is from Kalkan harbour. Confirm the meeting location, arrival time and return arrangements with our team before planning the road journey.

Kekova’s coastal scenery includes archaeological remains, described in the Ministry’s Culture Portal. Not every stretch of coast is a swimming stop. Follow the captain’s instructions and permitted stopping areas rather than treating a photograph of a particular cove as a guaranteed itinerary.

What to confirm before booking

1. Your date, total guest count and the children’s ages.
2. The boat you prefer and whether you want private hire.
3. The meeting point, time and transport arrangements.
4. Meals, drinks and any other services included in the price.
5. Payment, cancellation and changes due to weather.
